Managing Director of Development - Texas

Position Summary:
This is a very exciting growth created, executive level multifamily development leadership opportunity where this is a true partnership and equity participation role and this individual will be responsible for all aspects of multifamily development; building out and managing the platform, team and operations at the highest level (P/L, business plan, strategy, pipeline, and culture). There is meaningful available capital to deploy and support (immediate and long-term) growth in building out the pipeline and team focused on institutional quality multifamily developments across Texas and eventually into the mountain region. This individual will have the capital and resources with the initial goal to close 2-4+ deals in ramp up years, continuing to grow and expand their footprint from there and building out the pipeline across the life cycle through execution, stabilization and selling communities.
This role will offer a meaningful base salary, incentives and is an upside “participation” incentive driven opportunity and key member of the executive leadership team that will have a direct impact on the success of the overall business.
The right candidate will be an accomplished multifamily development leader that has experience building out and managing a high performing development business unit/pipeline/region, enjoys being “hands on” identifying and delivering great deals, enjoys all aspects of real estate development and building out and growing a business to scale. In a collaborative, well planned environment having ample support, this individual will be responsible for the growth, direction and performance of the development business, initially focused throughout the mid-western region to grow from there.
