Our client is Africa’s premier global international law firm, operating seamlessly across London, Lagos, Accra, Dubai, and other strategic markets. The firm advises on sophisticated cross-border transactions spanning energy, infrastructure, banking and finance, private equity, mining, real estate, and capital markets.
As part of its strategic expansion, the firm is seeking to appoint an exceptional Managing Counsel in Accra. The successful candidate will join a multicultural, multi-sectoral, and intellectually rigorous team, working on complex cross-border transactions across Africa and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute complex M&A private equity and finance transactions.

• Advise on capital markets transactions and strategic investments.
• Provide corporate governance and regulatory advisory services.
• Support international sponsors and DFIs entering Ghana and West Africa.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
• Contribute to business development and office growth strategy.

Required Qualifications and Experience
• LL.B (minimum) and qualification as Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana
• Ghana School of Law qualification
• 8–12 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong background in Corporate & Commercial law
• England & Wales qualification is a strong advantage
• International LL.M preferred
• Experience at a top-tier international or leading African firm preferred
