Known for cultivating a family-like culture where team members are genuinely valued and empowered to grow, this established brand operates some of the highest-volume locations in the region. The organization prides itself on maintaining exceptional standards, utilizing modern learning management software, and delivering remarkable experiences to every single guest. This role will focus its attention on the successful deployment of training programs, policies and procedures across all of the group's locations. Dynamic restaurant leaders with a passion for hospitality and leading/developing team members to success in their roles are encouraged to express interest.

Position Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, deliver, and continuously improve comprehensive onboarding, certification, recertification, cross-training, and skills development programs for all hourly Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) team members.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the organization's online Learning Management System (LMS), managing course creation, learning paths, and completion metrics.
  • Create engaging, professional blended learning materials, including instructional guides, job aids, video content, and reference resources that reflect current operational procedures.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer workshops and travel regularly between area restaurant locations to observe execution, run operational audits, and provide constructive on-the-floor coaching to trainers and leadership.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Restaurant Operations and General Managers to support new menu rollouts, system changes, and operational initiatives.
  • Generate training insights and compliance reports for leadership while continuously ensuring that training methods reinforce core company values and cultural standards.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in high-volume restaurant operations, hospitality training, or learning and development.
  • Proven track record of creating training materials, developing blended learning content, and facilitating presentations or workshops.
  • Strong proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite; hands-on experience administering an LMS platform is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and influence behaviors across multiple locations without direct authority.
  • Ability to stand and facilitate training for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and travel regularly between area business locations.
