Manager Network Infrastructure, leads a team of dedicated professionals, manage resources, and oversee the end-to-end engineering of Network Infrastructure initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a global network that provides Architecture and Engineering deployment services for over 200 locations in the US and 20 abroad
  • Manage a team of engineers and architects to develop strategy and technology roadmaps for Network and Telecommunication platforms
  • Translates business requirements into technology or process designs
  • Plans and recommends hardware, system, and management software and architecture
  • Designs architecture to ensure compliance to industry best practices
  • Develops and maintains standards and the master configurations of all network and telecom equipment
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocation as required
  • Monitors system performance, ensures capacity planning is performed and is proactive in assessing and making recommendations for improvement
  • Plans and manages the integration of new technologies to improve performance and, or reduce operating expense
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services
  • Works closely with the outsourcing partner(s) as required to support system development and implementation as necessary
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Implement quality assurance processes and metrics to ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions
  • Prepare regular progress reports and present updates to senior management as required
  • Continually evaluates and recommends new products and stays current with emerging technologies and how they may be leveraged by the organization
  • Asset and Vendor management
  • Incident/Problem management as necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Partner with CISO staff to align technology with established security standards
  • Collaborates with the Manager of Infrastructure Operations to manage outsourcers and vendor performance
  • Work with Infrastructure Delivery Manager to create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies
  • Partners with Manager Core Services to provide voice capabilities for Skype for Business and Team platforms

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 10 years IT experience in a variety of network technologies
  • Minimum 5 years in network device engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with budgeting, expense management and contract management
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management
  • Skill in problem solving and decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Technical knowledge of Cisco network routers, WiFi access points and switches
  • Technical knowledge of Cisco Meraki, F5 load balancers, Enterprise firewalls
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Skype4Business, Teams, and legacy VOIP/PSTN PBX
