Our client is a medical services provider with a 180+ bed regional referral center anchoring its offerings. For over 90 years they have provided advanced and innovative medical care to patients in a four-state region spanning more than 14,000 square miles.

The Nurse Manager utilizes critical thinking to support decision making in relation to clinical issues. This person will function as a professional role model, serve as a clinical resource and assist with the education and development of nursing staff. The Nurse Manager will coordinate and facilitate the unit performance improvement plan in conjunction
They are currently looking for a Manager of Medical Surgical Services to spearhead the continuing growth of this 50 bed unit.with the Program Director. This person utilizes Center Standards of Behavior when interacting with external and internal customers and actively participates in Service Excellence and Shared Leadership.

EDUCATION:

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing is required. Master's Degree preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

· Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska or eligible, without restrictions.

EXPERIENCE:

· Five years in the appropriate clinical specialty preferred.
