Our client is a level II MAGNET designated Trauma Facility, is currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Manager of their Intensive Care Unit to join their award winning team. Become the Nurse Leader of a team that has a recognized reputation in serving some of the most beautiful Valleys and Coastal Community in the State of CA.

In this position you will:

• Be accountable for the delivery of high quality nursing care and for the administrative management of the nursing unit on a 24-hour basis.
• Fulfill all duties and responsibilities associates with the unit manager position.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• 5 years experience within specialty required, 3 years management experience required.
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current BLS-HCP - Basic Life Support - for Healthcare Providers - American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer accepted on hire until card expiration date.
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• LA Fire Card within 30 days.
• Current California licensed Registered Nurse

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)
