Manager of Endo Post Anesthesia Care Unit PACU Registered Nurse RN

Currently seeking a talented and dedicated Manager of Endo Post Anesthesia Care Unit PACU Registered Nurse RN for a great opportunity in the Southern FL area. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of current experience working in an acute care hospital and have 3 years of experience working in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit in a leadership role.

Responsibilities of the Manager of Endo Post Anesthesia Care Unit PACU Registered Nurse RN

• Provides leadership and supervision of personnel including fostering a climate conducive to learning and development
• Under the supervision of the Surgical Services Director, the Nurse Manager coordinates nursing services and accepts organizational accountability for services provided 24/7
• Assumes responsibility for staffing and scheduling with appropriate utilization of personnel
• Participates in nursing and organizational policy formulation and decision making while serving as a clinical role model
• Assures that patients receive an appropriate level of care and coordinates resources available to provide the appropriate level of care

• Graduate from a school of nursing
• BSN preferred
• ASN required
• MSN preferred
• FL RN Licensure, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Registered Nurse PACU and Endoscopy experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years prior management or charge nurse experience required
