Manager of Data Quality
Our client was voted “Atlanta’s Most Preferred Hospital for All Health Care Needs” for 16 consecutive years, this large hospital system is a not for profit community based system offering a full range of services and has become an ambassador of women’s health issues.
The Quality Improvement Department is committed to patient safety, quality service, and continuous improvement. They work to advance learning and system-wide improvements throughout the hospital, various outpatient sites, and the communities we serve.
The Quality Manager provides oversight and direction for all Quality Information activities including data collection, validation, aggregation, and reporting. The Manager of Quality oversees the process for collection, analysis, and reporting of valid, reliable, and quality clinical data for the Hospital system. The Data Quality manager is responsible for the evaluation of existing and potential data sources to support quality clinical data and to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the data collection, analysis, and display/reporting process. Serves as a resource for hospital executives and other hospital and medical staff leaders on the collection, aggregation and analysis and reporting of valid and reliable data to use in making decisions on improvement in clinical care.
Requirements:
· Masters Degree Required in a clinical health related field with training in information systems related to collection and analysis of clinical data
· 5+ years healthcare experience in evaluating, refining and improving clinical data collection, analysis and reporting
· Demonstrated knowledge of computers and microcomputer applications
· Demonstrated experience in writing programs to support clinical data collection
