The Manager of Accounting Operations will lead the transactional processing functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, order management, and T&E and reports to the Director, Financial Planning and Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and grow the accounting operations function to support global transactional processing, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, order management, and T&E.
  • Manage the third-party logistics provider used for functions including order management and accounts receivable.
  • Conduct accounting operations monthly close process including journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis for accounts.
  • Manage federal and state Aggregate Spend transparency data collection, remediation, and reporting.
  • Design and report transactional processing operating metrics.
  • Serve as administrator for the corporate card program.
  • Manage administration of financial systems including systems for HR, T&E, invoice processing and GL.
  • Identify and implement new systems and processes to simplify operations, improve workflow, drive efficiencies and improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and provide support for SOX testing and the annual audit process.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the finance group.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience across multiple accounting operations disciplines.
  • BA/BS in business, accounting or finance.
  • Extensive ERP systems experience.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.
  • Expert proficiency with Excel.
  • CPA is required.
