Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager for a private fleet division of a $100 billion gross revenue, associate of 14,600 employee company, with 433 trucks, 1050 tanker trailers, and 30 terminals. The private fleet division was founded in 1996. Known as the go-to company for handling the hardest to haul tanker loads. A leader in providing the safest, highest quality transportation for crude oil, fuel, petroleum coke, and lube oil. Associates deliver quality service all over North America, logging over 30 million miles annually.
The Manager, Transportation Management Technology serves as the primary contact for the implementation, management and maintenance of all operational supporting systems including TMW Suite, Wellsite Manager, TMT, PDI and related application interfaces. Provides support to both colleagues and contractors in the coordination, implementation, and execution of operational support systems and applications. Documents and maintains application change control for all operational support systems. Provides project management functions and assists in the oversight of budgeted resource costs, incidental expenses, and service level agreements. Communicates the overall direction of related projects with colleagues and provides intermittent written and verbal status reports to all project stakeholders. This position also provides oversight guidance and support of the customer service centers of the various business units working with parent company stakeholders of the various business units as well as Senior Operations and Terminal Managers. Challenge is to increase revenues, optimize costs, and maximize profitability.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (CS or related field)

Background Preferred (but not required):
  • HAZMAT training
  • Regulations (CSA, FMCSR, OSHA, DOT, ELD)
