About the Role:

As the Manager, Operations at Sunset Transportation – Queretaro, you will play a critical role in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Managing Director to oversee the day-to-day functions of our operations teams, making strategic decisions that align with the company's goals and values. Your leadership will be instrumental in promoting a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape processes, mentor teams, and solve complex challenges, all while upholding the core values that drive The Sunset Way. Your broad understanding of the transportation industry and operational strategies will allow you to make impactful decisions that benefit both our customers and internal teams.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee and manage the daily operations of our logistics teams
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members in various departments
Enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team productivity
Serve as the escalation point for internal and external operational issues
Collaborate to ensure cohesive communication and process alignment
Monitor and analyze KPIs for improvement and implement solutions
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment

What We’re Looking For:

5-7 years’ experience in transportation, freight brokerage, or logistics
Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring teams
Excellent communication skills
A strategic understanding of logistics and transportation industry trends
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics preferred.
