Manager of Medical Surgical

They are looking for a stellar leader to manage a rapidly growing Med Surg department!
Being responsible for the overall direction of the Medical Surgical unit/department.
Directing all patient care services, including nursing, and ensures adequate staffing of nursing and ancillary services personnel for the medical surgical department.
Promoting the philosophy and objectives of the nursing practice by subscribing to and supporting Standards of Nursing Care through management of staff and resources, which is accomplished by planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, evaluating and directing in designated patient care areas.
Allocating available resources to promote efficient, effective and compassionate nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the caregiver practice
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Requires 3 years of experience in Med Surg or Oncology departments.
- Required Management Experience
Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in multiple areas of nursing.
