They are looking for a new ICU and Med Surg executive to lead two of the most critical departments in the hospital!

This position reports to the CNO

The Med Surg/ICU Nurse Manager provides clinical and departmental leadership and expertise. The nurse manager will oversee the nursing and daily operations of Med Surg/ICU and will be accountable for the quality and standards of nursing care, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance within the department. The Med Surg/ICU Nurse Manager collaborates with all disciplines of the healthcare team to ensure that programs are well planned and that services are fully integrated to ensure a patient-centered, outcome driven approach to patient care.

Requirement and Education:

• Candidates must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of PA or eligible.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years Med Surg/ICU experience.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required - must complete within 6 months.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and critical thinking skills, as well as effective communication skills.
