Our client is an 350 bed acute care hospital providing the Mid-South with the highest quality healthcare.

They are a highly specialized care provider for events of an emergency to the quality care provided for elective procedures and inpatient stays during illness.

Their network includes the flagship acute care hospital as well as an extended care hospital, rehabilitation hospital, outpatient surgery center, primary care network and outpatient center.

They are looking for a rock star to lead their Labor and Delivery department.

Plans, coordinates and supervises daily nursing activities within the Labor and Delivery units and performs professional nursing duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. Plans work schedules, assigns duties/activities to professional/ancillary staff and monitors daily workflow to ensure that quality service is provided and to achieve positive patient outcomes. Resolves complaints, conflicts, and operational problems to facilitate efficient emergency/urgent care services and ensure that patient care objectives are maintained.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

• Graduate of an approved Nursing program.
• BSN required.
• L&D experience required
• Current license to work as registered Nurse in TN.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Thirty-six (36) months progressive clinical/nursing experience; additional experience may be required based on assignment.
• One (1) year in a leadership / supervisory role required.
• Bachelors degree is required
• Certification Preferred
• CPR Certification Required
• Multi State RN Licensure Required
• Supervisory experience is required
