- Develop sales strategies, set sales targets and direct activity to retain and expand sales to meet goals.
- Recruit, train and coach Inside Sales Representatives.
- Optimize the sales process and collaborate with field sales organization.
- Manage customer relationships and sourcing new business opportunities through in-bound lead follow up and out-bound cold calls and emails.
- Communicate corporate vision, mission and strategy to the team and create plans to drive accountability.
- Lead by example with consistent displays of Company values and culture.
- Foster teamwork through collaboration and cooperation.
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers that do not require in-person sales visits or service.
- Generate new sales from past customers that do not require in-person sales visits or service.
- Prepare scripted introductions and become proficient in their use for cold calls.
- Manage a cost center budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry or other related discipline.
- 5+ years of Inside Sales Management experience
- Demonstrated experience with CRM and Microsoft Office
- In-depth understanding of the sales process
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Possess very strong skills with phone sales.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Driven and ambitious individual with strong desire to succeed
- Experience in specialty chemical industry.
- Capable of processing sales orders via the Company Customer Service ordering process.
