What you will be doing as the Inside Sales Manager:
  • Develop sales strategies, set sales targets and direct activity to retain and expand sales to meet goals.
  • Recruit, train and coach Inside Sales Representatives.
  • Optimize the sales process and collaborate with field sales organization.
  • Manage customer relationships and sourcing new business opportunities through in-bound lead follow up and out-bound cold calls and emails.
  • Communicate corporate vision, mission and strategy to the team and create plans to drive accountability.
  • Lead by example with consistent displays of Company values and culture.
  • Foster teamwork through collaboration and cooperation.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers that do not require in-person sales visits or service.
  • Generate new sales from past customers that do not require in-person sales visits or service.
  • Prepare scripted introductions and become proficient in their use for cold calls.
  • Manage a cost center budget.
What you will need as the Inside Sales Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years of Inside Sales Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM and Microsoft Office
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Possess very strong skills with phone sales.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Driven and ambitious individual with strong desire to succeed
  • Experience in specialty chemical industry.
  • Capable of processing sales orders via the Company Customer Service ordering process.
