Nealy Pierce has partnered exclusively with a dual campus, independently owned non profit health system near Jacksonville, Florida to recruit a collaborative Infection Prevention Manager to lead its infection prevention and control program.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you’ll set the strategy, mentor and manage your team, and partner across Nursing, Quality, and Patient Safety to strengthen outcomes, reduce HAIs, and maintain regulatory readiness across the system.

Small, cohesive team: Manage two Infection Preventionists (one who handles all surveillance, so you can focus on rounding, education and outcomes). You will also work collaboratively with two other Managers - a dedicated Patient Safety and Quality Manager.

What You’ll Do

Lead all system-wide infection prevention and control activities.

Partner with nursing and physician leaders to drive HAI reduction initiatives.

Oversee data collection, analysis, and education programs.

Develop and update policies and ensure regulatory compliance

Collaborate with local/state agencies for reporting and outbreak response.
What You Bring
-
Required: 3–5+ years of acute care hospital based infection prevention experience (leadership experience preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or CIC certification (RN strongly preferred).

Skilled communicator comfortable presenting to executives and clinical teams.

A self-directed, collaborative approach with a passion for education and measurable results.
