About Our Client:

A well-resourced and progressive non-profit in the GTA has a newly created role for a Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in their HR department. This management role will plan and implement equity, diversity and inclusion strategies to support organizational objectives and tackle anti-racism, anti-oppression and accessibility issues.


  • Lead all DEI initiatives across the organization
  • Plan and implement all DEI strategies in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the organization
  • Ensure a data-driven approach is utilized to evaluate and ensure objectives and goals are met
  • Provide advice to department leaders and act as a resource for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with all levels of the organization to create progressive and innovative change
  • Help lead the charge on creating an equity-focused workplace culture that is progressive in nature, fair and consistent


  • University degree with a focus on equity or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of focused experience in equity and diversity strategies and implementation
  • Demonstrated leadership, project and/or change management experience
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and very strong communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and pro-active
  • Demonstrated understanding of equity, accessibility, intersectionality, anti-racism, decolonization, inclusion, anti-oppression, the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the application of these in an organizational context.
