Our client is a decorated not for profit health system serving a five state region.
Their flagship hospital has over 400 licensed beds and has won multiple awards for clinical and customer service.
They are part of a very large and dynamic health system which has won numerous Best Places to Work and Quality Awards and Recognition.
There is an immediate opening for a Superstar ER Manager to take their very busy 52,000 visit ER to the next level of service.
Additionally, they will be opening a new campus in the very near future!
In collaboration with Vice President Patient Services and Medical Director, has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for all activities affecting patient care in a designated area. Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating the patient care given, personnel and unit management. Maintains high visibility within designated areas of responsibility. Participates in a collaborative management structure that shares responsibilities and functions across traditional department/unit boundaries. Provides direction and administrative support to multidisciplinary teams who provide care and services to persons and families of the System. Acts as expert resource to multidisciplinary teams and units as well as liaison to both providers, consumers, and other constituencies in the community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), Current IL RN license by IDPR or eligible, Current CPR certification, Minimum 5 years relevant nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Preferred:
- Certification in related clinical specialty, previous supervisory or management experience.
