Our client us a community healthcare provider; a 300+bed, all-private room facility with a network of 12 health centers and 45 medical specialties, nationally-recognized cardiac care program, Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, telemedicine and 24-hour neurology coverage, physician-assisted robotic surgery, Level II + Birthing Center, and Heartburn Clinic. They are also part of a 100+ hospital system which is one of the most successful health systems in the United States and offers unlimited growth potential for high achievers!
They have engaged our firm to identify and recruit a top ER executive to assist the new Director in taking the department to new levels of service and success.
The Clinical Nurse Manager holds 24-hour authority and accountability for management of assigned unit or service(s). The Manager assumes responsibility for translating the departments and hospital objectives, policy and procedures into effective action at the unit or service level, and maintains quality standard of care, practice and services.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum three years experience as a staff RN required. Previous charge experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Current nursing license in the state of Illinois required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment and PALS certification required within 6 months of employment.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification must remain current throughout employment.
- TNCC and ECRN required within first year of employment
