Nealy Pierce, LLC has been engaged by a 250 bed, not for profit, independently owned, Magnet designated hospital in the Mid-Atlantic / Northeast US region to help identify, attract, and hire an experienced Manager for its Emergency Department. Our client is located in a lovely and quaint coastal community that is known for its friendliness, mild climate and year round outdoor activities! The 35 bed ED currently sees over 65k patient visits per year but is growing quickly. In this role, you will report to a dynamic Director of Emergency Services and will be responsible for a team of approximately 75 FTE's, including a team of Coordinators and a dedicated ER Educator.

Our ideal candidate should be able to help establish a strategic direction for the department, mentor and lead a team, build collaborative and positive relationships across all levels, and possess outstanding communication skills. At least three to five (3-5) years RN ER Manager level experience, and at least five to seven (5-7) years of clinical ED nursing experience are required. Master's degree (preferably in Nursing) and BSN required. CEN and NE-BC certifications are also a plus!
