The Opportunity

The Surgical Services Leader is responsible for all perioperative nursing and paramedical activities, ensuring high-quality patient care across the department. This role provides oversight of clinical operations, staff performance, education, and resource management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership of perioperative nursing and support staff
• Oversight of patient care quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Staff development, education, and onboarding
• Operational management of supplies, equipment, and environment
• Collaboration with physicians and hospital leadership

Qualifications Snapshot

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Active California RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 5 years RN experience, including at least 2 years as a circulating RN

Preferred

• CNOR certification
• Post-anesthesia care experience
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience
