Commercial Banking is a high-profile segment within the organization. In the Edmonton market, the client has a well-developed presence with a significant portfolio of accounts. They have an entrepreneurial attitude and value their employees.
The Relationship Manager prepares credit structuring, credit underwriting, risk management and client facing support for clients within a specified geographic market, for a portfolio of clients with larger and more complex requirements. Although an individual contributor, the Relationship Manager also provides leadership to more junior commercial bankers, analysts, and less experienced staff.

What you will achieve in this role:
- Day-to-day contact with clients and collaborate with the team, supporting them with the analysis and development of general economic overviews, industry profiles and the evaluation of past and present fiscal viability of loan prospects.
- Complex analysis of financial statements and detailed evaluation of the loan prospects.
- Prepare credit submissions (new loan requests, renewals, annual reviews, amendments, and credit memos) for new and existing clients.
What you bring to this role:
- five plus years of progressive commercial credit experience with a recognized financial institution; strong technical skills and an understanding of complex credits and deal structures.
- Post secondary education
