Located north of Toronto, our client boasts a workforce of over 800 staff, and a tenured leadership team. With a presence across North & Latin America, this organization has redefined the printing industry and modernized their business to adapt to their loyal client’s evolving needs. As part of a larger, publicly traded entity, our client is in growth mode and looking to add to their amazing team. With a committed client base and an ever-growing product lines, our client plays in a very niche and customized space that enables them to elevate their client experience and deliver an outstanding and unique product each time. Due to recent growth and promotion, our client needs help with a newly created role as the Manager, Client Services.

The role of the Manager, Client Services will report into the director and help manage the daily operations of the customer service team. With a large team of 80+ staff, and hierarchical support below them, this role will combine leadership and project management to help drive the ultimate experience. The Manager will work collaboratively with corporate services in HR to drive ongoing recruitment, training and development and performance management for the team. Maintaining an engaged and motivated workforce is essential to this role and evaluation of high performing talent and succession planning will be critical. Equally as important, this role will bring new eyes to the team. The position will require the Manager to review business processes, bring forth new ideas for evolving best practices or building out new business efficiencies. You will be expected to lead the supervisors and team leads to ensure optimization of process and customer service. Your ability to oversee everything from the deliverables of projects to having a pulse on budgets and bottom line will be needed. Helping to establish KPIs, tracking sales and revenues and maintaining reports of activities will be expected. As part of the management team, you will be an essential voice when it relates to implementing new procedure, ensuring compliance terms are adhered to and acting as the last time of client service for complex or escalated issues.

The Ideal Candidate will bring over 7 years of progressive experience working within a manufacturing environment and leading a customer support group. Your stellar management skills and ability to drive results will be capitalized on. You will be able to demonstrate your savvy skills toggling between people and project management, and prides yourself on your vision as a big picture thinker. We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills who can motivate and inspire a highly engaged team. You will consider yourself a “mentor” and want to be part of the continuous development and promotion within the team. The Manager, Client Services will be able to show their problem-solving skills, ability to hold themselves and their team accountable while taking control of workflow delegation. Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, where there is constant change, and an ability to see multiple projects from start to completion is needed. We are looking for a solid manager, who doesn’t mind being on site 3-4 days / week because you see it as a requirement to help drive results. PMP certification would be an asset but previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with customized product base, would be required for this role.
