PROFILE:
Our client is located just South of Louisville, KY. in Elizabethtown, KY. and due to numerous recent internal promotions is hiring several Maintenance Technicians who have a good multi-craft skillset. Our client is an automotive supplier who is experiencing a growth in business and this is another reason for their needs at this time.

POSITION:
In this role you will work in a team with other skilled Maintenance professionals and there will be times where you will take on a project, breakdown or PM on your own. You will use and gain experience in troubleshooting PLCs, rebuilding pumps, motors and gearboxes, working with hydraulics and pneumatics and up to 480V electrical. You will start on an off shift, 2nd, 3rd or 12 hour nights. At this point, you can have a say of what shift you go to with us having needs in all 3 areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to trouble shoot and read the ladder logic on PLCs (Allen-Bradley mostly)
- Working knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics
- Ability to work with and around 480V 3 phase power
- Strong mechanical abilities such as fabricating and rebuilding pumps and motors
- Experience PM'ing a variety of machine types
- Installation or project experience
- The ability to work in teams or alone
- The ability to work on an off shift- day shift is not an option at this time
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder- no sponsorship at this time
- Developing electrical systems and controls
- Create control system electrical schematics
- Maintain electrical and controls specifications
- Develop electrical schematics and controls drawings
- Write advanced electrical controls programs
- Establish systems process control requirements
- Verify adherence to controls engineering design
- Create control system and electrical schematics
- Overseeing various electrical and controls engineering functions
- Develop controls systems for industrial use utilizing knowledge in control engineering
- Develop electrical and controls system architecture
- Implement electrical controls and automation systems for a manufacturing facility
- Extracted from process control systems
- Aid in the controls system design
- Sell advanced access control systems
- Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles
- Write code developing motion control logic and machine control logic
- Managing control system projects and supporting existing plant control systems
- Perform as a plant engineering department electrical, instrumentation, and control engineer
- Develop and upgrade electrical controls for manufacturing equipment
