JOB SUMMARY

You will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of highly automated and advanced manufacturing equipment necessary to produce our signature product. You will be trained and cross-trained to repair issues across a variety of technologies including heat staking, laser welding, mechanical swaging, printed circuit board (PCB) handling and testing, robotic automation, metal stamping and bending, form/fill/seal medical packaging, and high-speed discrete component assembly. This position requires mechanical aptitude, technical ability, machine troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

SALARY

$30-$34/hr - Commensurate with experience + 15 % shift differential

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a cGMP compliant environment and operate within FDA guidelines for 21CFR820 manufacturing.
  • Follow all policies and procedures including safety and quality standards.
  • Perform equipment setup, operation, repair, and weekly preventative maintenance tasks to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. These tasks must be completed under minimal supervision.
  • Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct shifts in process control.
  • Executes equipment inspections and generates emergency, corrective, and/or preventative work orders as needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail, good organization, and capable of working independently with minimal instruction.
  • Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks (i.e., cleaning, inspection, and lubrication) as necessary.
  • Thoroughly document maintenance activity using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees (e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and corporate representatives to help resolve complex quality, process, or safety defects.
  • Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or general operating inefficiencies with assembly production processes.
  • Assist in day-to-day support of operators, adjustments, setups, and change over.
  • This is a hands-on role, requiring the candidate to take on project work assigned as an individual contributor, or as a participant on cross functional teams, as well as be able to utilize tools to inspect, repair and maintain equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience with the maintenance and repair of manufacturing or industrial equipment or automotive mechanic work
  • Experience with automated, high speed or HMI equipment a plus
  • Basic computer skills and use of MS Office applications
  • Written and verbal English communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
