Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Operational Efficiency: Perform maintenance tasks at various skill levels to keep machinery and equipment running smoothly, including break-fix solutions, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections.
- Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems using appropriate testing devices and methods.
- System Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting to ensure reliable and safe operations.
- Advanced Technical Skills: Apply your welding skills (ARC, MIG, or TIG) as needed and perform complex mechanical tasks, including reconditioning and repairing machining tools.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow lockout/tagout protocols, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe workspace through daily housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work effectively with other maintenance staff and communicate any concerns or potential hazards to management.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Operate various platform lifts, cranes, and use a variety of hand/power tools to resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a maintenance certificate program from a recognized institution or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machines, distributed control systems, and logic controllers.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
- Experience with low voltage systems and E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) work preferred.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Must be a United States Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
