Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will support production personnel by maintaining equipment through preventive measures and troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical devices.

Responsibilities

• Daily engagement with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems for production and building equipment.
• Utilize direct evaluation, blueprints, equipment manuals, and other OEM specifications and OEM support to eliminate equipment downtime.
• Maintain part inventory and perform regularly scheduled lubrication and mechanical maintenance on building, foundry, machining, polishing, plating, injection molding, and building equipment.
• Work with contractors and plant support staffing to maintain schedule adherence for new systems and OEM updates.
• Work with the Engineering team to develop new systems and machinery to eliminate waste on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Coursework toward Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic Technology or 3+ years of work experience
• Industrial equipment repair exposure within a manufacturing environment
• Experience and/or training with Microsoft Office
