Maintenance Technician II
Role Overview
Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to support production equipment and facility operations in a manufacturing environment. This role requires independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and adherence to safety standards.
Compensation: Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
Core Responsibilities

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, motors, controls, and related components

Install, test, maintain, and repair wiring, fixtures, starters, and control devices

Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation

Use testing equipment to diagnose system and component failures

Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime

Ensure continuity and functionality of electrical systems through testing

Follow lockout/tagout and all applicable safety procedures

Complete maintenance documentation and required paperwork

Work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Several years of experience in industrial electrical or maintenance roles

Working knowledge of PLCs, I/O logic, and AC/DC drives

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Familiarity with electrical codes and safe operating procedures

Basic math, reading, and writing skills

Computer proficiency for documentation and reporting

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical / Work Requirements

Ability to lift up to approximately 75 lbs

Stand and walk for extended periods

Perform bending, reaching, and manual handling tasks

Work in an industrial manufacturing environment
