About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with an established plastics manufacturer with deep roots, a strong reputation, and a growing operation in Charlotte. This night shift role supports a 24/7 injection molding facility producing waste carts, recycling carts, and totes on large-tonnage equipment. This is a strong fit for a hands-on technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running, solving problems quickly, and supporting production in a fast-paced plant environment. With strong stability, consistent overtime, and real technical work, this is a great opportunity for someone who likes being on the floor and making an impact.
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot and repair injection molding presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment to support uptime across the operation. Perform preventive maintenance, support mold changes, and help ensure machines are ready for production. You’ll also maintain facility systems, document maintenance work, identify parts needs before downtime happens, and follow strict safety procedures while working independently on night shift.
Who You Are
You are a skilled, hands-on maintenance technician who works well independently and knows how to stay calm under pressure. You enjoy troubleshooting, take ownership of equipment reliability, and understand the importance of safety, urgency, and follow-through. You are the kind of person who likes technical work, staying busy, and being part of an operation that depends on strong maintenance support every shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2+ years of injection molding maintenance experience highly preferred, or completion of a formal industrial maintenance training program.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and electronic systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics/automation.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work independently on a night shift schedule.
Why This Role Matters

Your work directly supports equipment uptime, plant reliability, and the overall performance of a busy manufacturing operation. For the right technician, this is a chance to join a stable and well-regarded employer, earn consistent overtime, and take on meaningful hands-on work in a growing environment.
