You’ll lead a skilled service team, ensure timely maintenance, and manage projects that enhance curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with integrity. Set the tone for excellence by modeling our company’s values and maintaining the highest standards in service and safety.
  • Inspire and develop your team. Hire, train, and mentor your service team to deliver top-notch maintenance and customer care.
  • Deliver exceptional resident experiences. Follow up promptly on maintenance requests and ensure residents’ homes are comfortable and well cared for.
  • Oversee property maintenance. Manage all repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
  • Own the make-ready process. Ensure apartments are prepared for new move-ins with attention to quality and timeliness.
  • Drive property enhancements. Plan and oversee projects that improve curb appeal, building systems, and community satisfaction.
  • Manage vendors and budgets. Negotiate pricing, control expenses, and maintain relationships with trusted contractors.
  • Be hands-on when needed. Step in for emergency repairs, after-hours calls, or seasonal responsibilities like snow removal.
  • Stay current and grow. Commit to professional development and stay ahead of maintenance innovations and industry trends.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of maintenance or facilities experience (multi-family preferred)
  • 1+ year in a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager role
  • HVAC/EPA Certification (CFC Universal required)
  • Strong technical skills across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and genuine care for residents and your team
