Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled and service-driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of our upscale mid-rise apartment community. This leadership role is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional quality, creating a first-class resident experience, and mentoring a high-performing maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and inspire the maintenance team to deliver prompt, professional service
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, including work orders, preventive maintenance, and capital projects
- Ensure apartment homes are turned quickly and flawlessly, meeting our luxury standards for new residents
- Troubleshoot and perform advanced repairs on building systems — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and more
- Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate contracted work with precision and attention to detail
- Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to keep the maintenance shop organized and efficient
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, ensuring seamless service
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of multifamily maintenance experience, including supervisory or lead experience
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and hands-on repair skills
- EPA Universal Certification required; CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a polished, resident-first approach
