In this role, you will:

  • Supervise and manage daily maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Lead and train the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure readiness for repairs.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to address equipment-related challenges effectively.
  • Support the installation, upgrade, and modification of equipment to meet production demands.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.

Qualifications Summary:

  • Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in maintenance, ideally within manufacturing or food production. Supervisory experience is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting systems.
    • Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial systems is a plus.
    • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and safety compliance standards.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    • Understanding of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
    • Experience in food manufacturing environments is a must.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and team management skills.
    • Proficiency with maintenance software is desirable.
