Guided Search Partners (GSP)
Guided Search Partners is an Executive Search firm built on Trust, Transparency, Specialization, and Long-term Relationships.
We connect high-performing professionals with organizations that value people, performance, and growth—helping leaders find roles where they can make an impact and build meaningful careers.

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a stable operation with a full book of business, a staple plating line, and continued investment in technology. This is a backfill role that’s been expanded beyond a clerical focus—today it’s about building a stronger maintenance planning and reliability rhythm.

If you’re analytical, organized, and grounded in preventative maintenance—and you enjoy reducing downtime by improving the system, not just reacting—this role will feel like a strong next step.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain preventative maintenance schedules; coordinate corrective work to reduce downtime.

  • Create and manage work orders, track completion, and keep priorities moving.

  • Review downtime trends and adjust PMs to prevent repeat issues.

  • Support spare parts, vendors/contractors, and basic cost tracking.

  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure maintenance work aligns with safety and procedures.

  • Communicate updates and needs between the maintenance team and leadership.

  • Identify improvement opportunities through upgrades, overhauls, or new technology.

Who You Are

  • Maintenance-minded with a reliability/continuous improvement approach.

  • Analytical—able to look at downtime and identify what could have prevented it.

  • Clear communicator who can stay organized when business needs change.

  • Comfortable being hands-on and practical, while thinking ahead.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

  • Preventative maintenance background (planning/scheduling experience is key).

  • Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical systems (hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge is a plus).

  • Strong planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Plating experience is a plus.

Why This Role Matters

This role helps stabilize equipment performance and reduce downtime in a busy operation. You’ll bring structure, visibility, and follow-through—helping the plant run more predictably while supporting ongoing investment and demand.
