JOB SUMMARY

This is an hourly position and will report directly to the Maintenance Director. This position will require overtime, weekends, rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tolls including CNC controls, PCL hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

SALARY

Starting at $28/hr - commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Performing adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment
• Installing and upgrading new and current equipment to adhere to LEAN Principles
• Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basis
• Assisting with other duties, assignments and projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiar with AC and DC motor systems
  
• Highschool or GED required; Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology a plus
