Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Plant Manager for a natural food and ingredients global manufacturing company. Coordinate Maintenance activities to ensure the preventive and curative maintenance, suitable for all industrial equipment, ensuring good equipment performance. Ensure manufacturing has no production stops due to equipment and infrastructure failures. Establish annual plan for food safety and failure reduction. Control the successful completion and traceability of actions. Adjust the annual preventive plan according to observations made by agents about the state of the equipment and following the action plans defined in managing the continuing improvement of the site. Define and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance plans and respond to requests for curative actions in the shortest time. Identify and redefine the necessary changes to preventive maintenance plans. Verification and control of preventive and curative maintenance activities carried out by the work teams. Guarantee the implementation of control measures for food safety and have the authority to block the products in case of non-compliance or loss of control. Define the annual maintenance budget. Validate invoices by assigning costs to the corresponding analytical centres. Manage monthly expenses to meet budget. Monitor the implementation of new projects.

Background Required:

  • Knowledge of HACCP for maintenance
  • Food safety, BRC, SQF
  • Maintenance budget setting, tracking and planning
  • CMMS
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Residence: Salt Lake, Utah
