Maintenance Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Maintenance Manager will develop and implement maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and systems. Ensure timely and efficient completion of all maintenance tasks, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the maintenance team, including technicians and support staff. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget. Optimize maintenance costs through effective resource allocation and cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential issues. Implement reliability improvement programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment longevity.
- Oversee the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies. Ensure critical spare parts are available to minimize downtime during repairs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service agreements.
- Lead initiatives to improve maintenance processes, enhance equipment reliability, and reduce maintenance costs. Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements.
- Relocation assistance provided. $120K-$140K.
Requirements
- The Maintenance Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a chemical plant or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of chemical plant equipment and systems, including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and control systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the chemical industry.
- Proficient in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
