Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and manage maintenance technicians and support staff.
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, work orders, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs, unit turns, and property improvement projects.
  • Manage maintenance related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including obtaining bids and managing project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in apartment inspections and unit readiness processes.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the property, including common areas, grounds, and snow removal as needed.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with maintenance management software is a plus.
