Job Title: Maintenance Lead
Position Type: Non-Union, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $25-27/hr + OT
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Overview:
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a Maintenance Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and facilities through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
- Execute tear-downs and rebuilds of machinery as needed for maintenance or upgrades.
- Implement Lockout/Tagout procedures to maintain safety standards.
- Operate and maintain overhead cranes (experience preferred).
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment as needed.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and hand tool operations.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
- Comfort working at heights of up to 150 feet.
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments preferred.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, and kneel as necessary.
- Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to fifty pounds individually, and up to one hundred pounds with team lifting.
- Must possess adequate vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- The work environment is not climate-controlled and may involve exposure to foundry conditions.
