JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Maintenance-Janitor in Lapeer. Our client is a machine shop. The Maintenance-Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of facility.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance-Janitor includes:

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Cleaning of Bathrooms twice daily
• Maintaining and cleaning lunchroom
• Remove Trash in production and pack area
• Check and refill supplies as needed
• Mop Buckets: change water as needed.
• Run Floor sweeper
• Run Floor scrubber

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Building maintenance experience, a plus
