Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for supporting production equipment within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Providing safe and timely preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing plant type of environment
• Understands and follows safety policies and procedures. Additionally, identifies safety risks and works to reduce them.
• Creates mechanical layouts and drawings to help in preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate equipment breakdowns and failures
• Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal/degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality, or productivity.
• Hands on in, troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and maintains equipment and machinery used
• Installs/troubleshoots/repairs hydraulic and pneumatic actuators
• Rebuilds various parts/equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical Engineering Desired)
• Electrical and maintenance understanding ideal
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Team Player who Collaborates well with others
• Previous project management experience is beneficial
