Responsibilities
  • The Maintenance Engineer monitors and coordinates daily maintenance activities, provides technical / engineering support to maintenance groups as needed.
  • Monitors the initiation, development, assignment and completion of general maintenance work orders, constantly strives to identify areas in which improvements could be made to decrease failures and increase the efficiency of repairs.
  • Provides support for non-routine maintenance work including maintenance and emergency shutdowns.
  • Maintains updated files for all major plant equipment containing drawings, summaries of major repairs, purchasing documentation showing parts ordered and associated costs, etc. and any other documentation related to the equipment that may be needed.
  • Maintains and further develops a computerized preventive maintenance system to periodically provide maintenance to plant equipment as needed to reduce equipment failures.
  • Pennsylvania or West Virginia residents preferred. $90K-$110K.
Requirements
  • The Maintenance Engineer will have a BSME and 2+ years as a Mechanical Engineer or Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing plant.
  • Chemical industry experience is a plus.
  • Requires a self-motivated individual with strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products is recommended.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
