Maintenance Electronic Technician
Job Description
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years’ experience troubleshooting electrical controls and working with PLC’s in an industrial facility
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing automotive environment.
- Associate degree in Electronics
- Fanuc/ABB robot experience
- CMMS experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products
Responsibilities:
- Program and debug PLC ladder logix using Rockwell software
- Troubleshoot automated equipment via Slc500, Plc5 or Control Logix processor
- Troubleshoot both high voltage AC and low voltage DC electrical circuits using digital multimeter
- Maintain automation networks (devicenet, controlnet and data highway)
- Maintain AC and DC inverter drives
- Diagnose system failure of pressure transducers, photoelectric sensors, proximity switches and light curtains
- Perform system maintenance on MMI’s (Panelview, DTAM, RSView)
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assemblies.
- Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Perform maintenance from work orders, preventative work orders (PM’s) as well as from written and verbal instructions.
- Operate forklifts, Aerial lifts
