Maintenance Director - CLOSED
Critical access hospital located in the central Midwest seeks a Maintenance Director as the current is retiring soon. Reporting to the CEO, the Maintenance Director is responsible for direction of the Maintenance Services and Plant Operations Department. Responsible for maintaining a comfortable physical environment for patients, personnel, medical staff and the public, in accordance with hospital policy and procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance program to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation of the entire physical plant and all related operating equipment within the facility. Responsible for supervision of operation and maintenance of multiple buildings and structures. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Assists the CEO/CFO in formulating a budget for the Maintenance Department. Will oversee one staff member.
Prefer recent experience as manager of plant/maintenance, including experience in disaster planning and fire regulations. Four or more years of previous similar experience. Knowledge about electricity, electrical safety, HVAC, Fire and Life Safety Codes. Must possess technical skill and knowledge to perform duties.
The community is in a picturesque setting along a major river that hosts a variety of festivals and music events. It is approximately 80 miles from downtown of a major metropolitan city.
