Maintenance & Reliability Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Maintenance & Reliability Manager will lead and supervise a team of Maintenance/Reliability personnel providing technical guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies that align with organizational goals and industry best practices; identify opportunities for efficiency and reliability gains.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain to streamline operations, resolve issues, drive operational excellence and promote safety while reducing costs.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of equipment reliability and the workforce.
- Ensure the availability of plant equipment through preventative, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance techniques.
- Conduct root cause analyses and lead implementation of corrective actions to address equipment failures and performance issues.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget; forecast expenditures, track costs, and identify avenues for cost optimization while enhancing operational efficiency.
- Relocation provided. $150K-$160K.
- The Maintenance & Reliability Manager will have a BSME or BSEE and 10 + years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering within petrochemical and chemicals plants. PSM experience is a requirement.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of maintenance professionals.
- High level of “hands-on” experience with equipment and be proficient at solving complex equipment problems.
- In-depth knowledge of the best practices and methodologies in maintenance in addition to modern techniques that ensure high reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
