Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Welder in Wixom, MI. Our client provides custom pipe flaring and threading, and welding services. The Welder is responsible for playing a crucial role in creating high-quality metal components.

OPEN POSITIONS:

  • 1st shift- Machine Welder/Tester

Responsibilities of a Welder includes:

  • Operate welding machines to perform MIG welds with precision.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute welding tasks accurately.
  • Prepare and clean metal surfaces to ensure optimal weld quality.
  • Perform welds that meet high standards of strength and cleanliness, inspecting finished work for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to keep it in top condition.
  • Follow established safety protocols and maintain a tidy and organized work area.

Job Requirements of a Welder:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Strong focus on delivering high-quality work with precision.
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity to handle welding tasks effectively.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience as a MIG welder.
