Our client is one of the largest hospital companies in the nation and was recognized as one of the “15 Top Health Systems in the Nation”.

Their hospital located just outside of Kansas City has over 50 beds and has served its community for over 150 years!

They have an immediate need for a MLT Medical Lab Technician to help with thier world class lab services department.

Performs manual and automated routine blood tests. Prepares specimens for microscope examination. Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to Lab Director.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited MLT program and passing a national exam given by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
