POSITION SUMMARY: Our client needs a Ministry Relations Director! Its full time, teaching Christians how to live out their daily faith. Leading prayer initiatives around the state; expanding fund raising and volunteer participation and more.
Public speaking, great computer skills, 3 years of fundraising, communications and development experience and a college degree. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every listed qualification, as we recognize and celebrate potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and execute the logistical aspects of fundraising events to ensure effective execution, high participation, spiritual impact, and successful achievement of revenue goals. Build relationships and develop a volunteer team for fundraising events. Collaborate closely with the Communications Director to create promotional materials, newsletters, and social media content to engage supporters and tell our story.
  • Cultivate and steward strategic relationships with current and prospective donors, including corporate sponsors and organizations, to meet the Ministry's financial goals set by the Board of Directors. Proactively identify new contacts to increase involvement in the Ministry as supporters or participants. Oversee and manage the donor database system to accurately record contributions, record contacts, ensure timely acknowledgements, and maintain consistent communication with supporters. Represent the Ministry in “Telling our Story” through written and verbal means to increase the awareness and the impact of the organization.
  • Your work will have ongoing engagement with the staff to directly support prayer movements, discipleship programs, leadership efforts, and transformative ministry throughout Alabama.

EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in communications, promotions, fundraising, and development.
  • Formal experience is valuable—especially in areas such as administration, communication, and event planning—and has proven success in fundraising and donor cultivation strategies.
  • Have a heart for ministry, a passion for people, and a willingness to grow.
  • Microsoft Office skills to include Word, Excel, and the donor management platform
  • Professional written and verbal skills

  • Organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Implement promotional campaigns that increase the ministry’s awareness
  • Experience in collaborating with staff and teams

HOURS/SUPPORT/BENEFITS:
  • The Ministry Relations Director is a full-time salaried position. At times, evenings and weekends are required. The Ministry Relations Director will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
