Machinery Welder (MIG Welder)

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Machinery Welder in Walterboro. Our client is a Chemical Company. The Machinery Welder is responsible for performing welding and fabrication on various projects and machinery at our production center.

Responsibilities of a MIG Machinery Welder includes:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welding and Fabricating: Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Project Management and Scheduling: Ability to plan work and keep projects on schedule.
• Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct inspections of welded areas and perform necessary tests to ensure the quality and integrity of welds meet specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing welding tasks, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Maintenance: Maintain and repair welding equipment, ensuring all tools are in proper working condition.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction personnel to ensure successful project completion.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of welding activities, materials used, and time spent on each task.

Job Requirements of a MIG Machinery Welder:

• Requires 3-5 years of welding experience.
• Contractor must supply their own welding tools.
• Welding Certification.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Must past background check and drug test.
