Are you a Project Manager who thrives on staying close to the technical side of MEP design? Our client is a dynamic MEP engineering practice with 40+ years of industry experience designing high-performance, energy-efficient buildings across multiple markets.

They are seeking an MEP Project Manager for their Fairfax, VA office who can drive complex projects forward while remaining deeply engaged in thoughtful, high-quality design. This is not a paper-pushing role - it's a chance to make real impact. With this opportunity, you’ll guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and partners, and drive projects from concept through construction. As a key member of their team, you’ll shape high-impact projects, mentor emerging talent, and contribute to well-coordinated solutions that make a real difference in our communities and the built environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day project management: schedules, budgets, documentation, and team coordination.
• Serve as the primary client contact—running meetings, managing expectations, and ensuring seamless communication.
• Oversee MEP/FP technical design, including calculations, equipment selection, drawings, specifications, and QA/QC.
• Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal disciplines to produce fully integrated solutions.
• Support proposals, scope development, and ongoing business development opportunities.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm’s technical standards and best practices.

What You Bring

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 6+ years of MEP design/project management experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Speclink, and Bluebeam.
• Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
