Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of a leading asset-based supply chain and logistics provider specializing in domestic & international freight, truckload brokerage, warehousing, distribution & fulfillment, project & on-site management.
The Logistics Sales Representative is responsible for the complete sales process including prospecting, calling, lead generation, sourcing new business opportunities, pricing, closing, and managing a book of business. Will secure revenue using referrals, leads, and cold calls while building relationships with customers to secure predictable, repeatable revenue. Responsible for drawing on unique competencies to demonstrate how the business can be beneficial to the customer. Will coordinate the operation of carrier pick-up and delivery of freight. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Sales and operations in non-asset logistics environment (2+ years)
  • Verifiable growth track record
  • Strong Negotiation Ability
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Education: College Graduate or equivalent related work experience
  • Residence: Minneapolis, MN
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Transportation Management System (i.e. MercuryGate)
  • Multi Service Offering experience (i.e. warehousing, trucking, international transportation)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
